State Bank of Long Island Grants $3,000 to Adelphi University

On Thursday, June 14, 2007, representatives from State Bank of Long Island presented a check for $3,000 to Adelphi University in Garden City to help fund their Child Activity Center. One of Adelphi’s model programs which ties the University to the community, the Child Activity Center, located on Adelphi's Garden City campus, provides part-and full-day programs for pre-schoolers, Monday through Friday. Adelphi University is in the process of building a new Child Activity Center on campus which should be completed in 2008.
